Historic Well Celebration
Llangoed Harvest Festival

One of Llangoed’s historical wells has been uncovered by locals and is now cared for by the community. Inspired by this now revived gathering place, local creative people created the third annual ‘well dressing’ - a floral display for the well using flower petals and other natural materials.
‘Gwrych / The Hedgerow’ was the inspiration this year, shown with our well woman as she strolls down the road to fetch her water on a calm autumn day.
Our celebration included the reading of ‘St Seiriols Well’ by Eleanor Rees, ‘Gwrych’ by Sian Northey and a blessing from Rev. Richard. Thank you for sharing your words, ideas and sentiments. Beautiful!
