We’re aiming to raise £500 towards a new, accessible greenhouse for the school's Gardening Club. Help us make it happen, piece by piece!
Llangoed Flower Show (which also organises the annual Harvest Festival) is working with Ysgol Llangoed to make this new growing space a reality. We're inviting our community to help us get over the finish line — whether you sow a few seeds, sponsor a shelf, a panel or even the greenhouse door! Choose how you'd like to help below.

Growing Together in Llangoed
The new greenhouse is part of a much wider project being developed by Llangoed Flower Show. We've received funding from the Sustainable Development Fund, a Welsh Government initiative in the Isle of Anglesey Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), to create a year-round, multigenerational programme of 'seed to table' growing in our community.
Through gardening, food growing, workshops and shared activities, we want to bring people of different generations together to learn practical skills, exchange knowledge and explore the connections between growing, cooking and eating.
An important part of this programme is supporting the Gardening Club at Ysgol Llangoed. The children are already growing and harvesting their own vegetables, learning about plants and food, and getting hands-on experience in the school garden.
A new, weatherproof and fully accessible greenhouse will help them take this further, extending the growing season and creating more opportunities to learn and experiment throughout the year.
Thanks to the funding we've already secured, we're nearly there. With another £500 from our community, we can make the greenhouse happen!

* A note about sponsorship
Our sponsorship options – such as ‘Sponsor a Shelf’, ‘Sponsor a Panel’ and ‘Sponsor the Door’ – are symbolic giving levels to help us raise funds towards the overall greenhouse project. They do not represent the actual purchase price of an individual item, and more than one supporter may choose the same sponsorship option.
All donations made through this appeal will support the Ysgol Llangoed greenhouse project as a whole, including the greenhouse, base, access, fencing, installation and associated works. If we raise more than is needed to complete the greenhouse project, any surplus will be used to support the Flower Show’s wider community growing and educational activities.
