The workshop

Chop, salt, pack and ferment.

Join Anna from Anglesey-based Bwblin for a relaxed, hands-on introduction to wild fermentation. Working with seasonal vegetables, you’ll learn the principles behind safe vegetable fermentation and how simple ingredients can be transformed through salt, time and naturally occurring cultures.

Anna will guide you through the process step by step, from preparing and seasoning your vegetables to packing your jar and looking after your ferment at home. Along the way, you’ll explore flavour combinations and learn how to experiment confidently with seasonal produce.

Everyone will make their own ferment to take home and continue fermenting.

No previous experience is needed, and all ingredients and equipment are provided.
