Our tool sharpening station was busy throughout the weekend, with James and Hari helping visitors bring their well-used tools back into working order. Knives and secateurs, loppers and garden shears, chainsaws and carving knives — even a sickle! Alongside the sharpening, visitors learned about different blade shapes and the tools and techniques needed to care for them.

A practical way to extend the life of our tools, reduce waste and share useful skills within the community. Many thanks to James and Hari for generously sharing their time, equipment and expertise throughout the weekend.
